Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative will greet you and assist with customs and luggage. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Exploring the Pyramids and Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to explore the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Discover the ancient techniques used to build these marvels and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Egyptian Museum to view Tutankhamun’s treasures and other artifacts. In the evening, board your overnight sleeper train to Luxor.
Day 3: Nile Cruise Begins – Luxor’s Ancient Temples
Arrive in Luxor and embark on a tour of the Karnak and Luxor Temples, including the Avenue of Sphinxes and the Temple of Amon. After the tour, board your Nile Cruise ship, where you’ll stay for the next four nights.
Day 4: Luxor’s West Bank
Start with breakfast on the cruise, then explore Luxor’s West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Learn about the burial rites of ancient pharaohs and marvel at their monumental architecture.
Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Day 6: Aswan’s High Dam and Philae Temple

Day 7: Leisure Day in Aswan or Optional Abu Simbel Tour
Enjoy a leisure day in Aswan or take an optional tour to the stunning Abu Simbel temples. In the evening, board the sleeper train back to Cairo, reflecting on the beauty of the Nile.
Day 8: Discover Sakkara and Memphis
Upon arrival in Cairo, explore the Sakkara complex, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Memphis, home to a colossal statue of Ramses II. Return to Cairo for the night, with an option to enjoy a Nile dinner cruise.
Day 9: Departure from Cairo
On your final day, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before our representative assists with your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. Depart with treasured memories of your Egyptian adventure.
