10-Day Egypt Exploration: Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan & Sharm El Sheikh

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our Tours of Cairo representative will greet you, handle your luggage, and facilitate customs procedures. You will be transported in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel where you can settle in for the night.

Day 2: Cairo’s Ancient Wonders

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before meeting your guide who will escort you to the Giza Plateau. Marvel at the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Enjoy a local lunch before exploring the treasures of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Return to your hotel for the evening, with an optional Sound & Light show at the Pyramids available.

Day 3: Discover Alexandria

Post breakfast, drive to Alexandria. Today’s tour includes the historic Library of Alexandria, the formidable Qaitbay Citadel, Pompey’s Pillar, and the intriguing catacombs. Return to Cairo after a day full of exploration and spend the night at your hotel in Alexandria.

Day 4: Old Cairo and the Citadel

After breakfast, return to Cairo and visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, and significant Coptic sites including the Abu Sirga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Enjoy lunch at a renowned local eatery. Overnight in Cairo with an optional Nile Cruise dinner featuring a folk-show.

Day 5: Fly to Luxor

Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, visit the majestic Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Check into your Luxor hotel for the night.

Day 6: Journey to Aswan

Enjoy breakfast, then a scenic drive to Aswan, stopping at Luxor’s Karnak and Luxor Temples en route. In Aswan, visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7: Aswan to Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast, catch a flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure exploring the vibrant city. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 8: Relax in Sharm El Sheikh

Spend a full day at your leisure in Sharm El Sheikh, with options to visit the beautiful Ras Mohamed National Park or simply relax on the stunning beaches. Another night in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 9: Return to Cairo with a Stop in Memphis & Sakkara

Fly back to Cairo and dive into Egypt’s rich history with visits to Sakkara, home to the Zoser Pyramid, and Memphis where you see the statue of Ramses II. Explore Dahshur’s Red and Bent Pyramids. Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, our representative will assist you with check-out and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
